My Life My Choice Foundation creates positive spaces for people aged 9-35 across disadvantaged groups. Rooted in the reality of social ills ravaging communities, MLMC guides children, teenagers and young adults toward emotional strength, constructive free time, service, money sense and a culture of positive life choices.
This quick demo check-in helps you name what you are carrying, match with an MLMC programme, and leave with one practical action for today.
My Life My Choice Foundation is rooted in creating space for South Africans aged 9 to 35 to navigate the social ills currently ravaging communities: poverty, addiction, violence, unsafe peer pressure, teenage pregnancy, school dropout, unemployment and hopelessness.
In many societies, people who are not willing to fall into destructive patterns still lack safe spaces where they can follow a culture of positive lifestyles. MLMC exists to build those spaces through guided age clusters, mentorship, service and disciplined use of free time.
The goal is mental transformation: helping each person put down the Black Bag and pick up a practical toolbox of purpose, emotional intelligence, money sense, faith, nature, soil, service and community responsibility.
MLMC is positioned around the ages and pressures people face across disadvantaged groups. Each cluster needs a different kind of guidance, but the mission is the same: improve mentality, protect choices, and turn free time into constructive culture.
These outcomes are built through repeated habits: service, soil, nature, money discipline, emotional intelligence and positive use of free time.
Each programme gives disadvantaged age clusters a constructive way to use time, build discipline and practise better life choices.
The Black Bag is the emotional weight carried from painful experiences, wrong choices, social pressure and hopeless environments. This programme helps participants name what is weighing them down, understand their triggers, and replace destructive thinking with a fresher, positive toolbox.
Money Matters teaches that money is not only income; it is attitude, planning and responsibility. Participants learn saving, needs versus wants, avoiding destructive spending, and using small resources to build confidence instead of pressure.
Agri-Soil uses gardening and food-growing activities to teach patience, care, routine and responsibility. Soil becomes a classroom where young people see that consistent effort, not shortcuts, produces real results.
Gospel Nature and Enviro-Up-Keep connect faith, reflection, nature and community care. Participants practise clean-up work, environmental responsibility, prayerful reflection and service so positive culture becomes visible in the places they live.
Browse moments from hikes, camps, play sessions, study circles, park days and women-focused sessions.
These are not just words. They are a daily commitment. A way of walking through the world with purpose and dignity.
MLMC is organised around life stages rather than provincial branding. The same movement can serve schools, churches, homes, neighbourhoods and community spaces wherever disadvantaged groups need a positive lifestyle culture.
We are partnering with HerWell — a women's health and wellness app — to create a dedicated digital home for MLMC's female ambassadors. Track your cycle and health, access MLMC community resources, chat with an AI health companion, and connect with thousands of young women on the same journey. Built by women. For women. In Africa.
Every MLMC ambassador will have access to a private, safe digital space where health education meets community support — because your body, your health, and your future all deserve care.
The guide uses your Black Bag Check-In result to suggest a 3-step plan, one habit for the week, one peer-pressure phrase, and one programme to start with.
